Event Storming

Public and private sessions in London, UK, Europe & the USA

We used Big Picture Event Storming to share understanding across the team of the domain we’re working with, and to identity boundaries in our software systems. In the process we discovered a couple of other things as a bonus. All in a day.

Event Storming is a collaborative-modelling technique that accelerates learning in development teams and allows to quickly explore problem domain. With right people (business and technical stakeholders) in the room the team can quickly reach common understanding and as a result implement software that solves right problems.

Nick & Kacper are experienced facilitators that run dozens of workshops in the UK, EU, US & Asia. They have used both Big-Picture and Design-Level Event Storming to explore problem domains and create fit-for-purpose solutions. If you are thinking about running a session, but not sure how to start, then inviting them to facilitate it can be a great enabler for learning and designing better software.

If you are interested in learning about the technique you can join us during one of the public Event Storming sessions. You can also check out our blog post with 7 Event Storming Modelling tips or read through the experience report from one of the sessions we run for our clients.
